  • Puppies must be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Small-group, highly supervised, and intentionally structured

What is Puppy Preschool?

Spotted Snout Puppy Preschool is a puppy-focused training and socialization program created for young dogs who need more than a traditional daycare environment.

This is not chaotic puppy free play.

Instead, your puppy gets a carefully structured morning designed to support healthy development through intentional socialization, enrichment, confidence building, and age-appropriate training.

Each Puppy Preschool session is thoughtfully guided so your puppy can learn, explore, and build positive experiences in a small-group setting.

How it works

Puppy Preschool is designed to be simple and flexible.

Puppies attend as single-session bookings based on availability, making it easy to join when it fits your schedule while still giving your puppy valuable early learning experiences.

Because spots are intentionally limited, early booking is recommended.

Pricing

Puppy Preschool — $80 per day

A trainer-led half-day puppy program focused on socialization, enrichment, confidence building, and age-appropriate training in a small-group environment.

Limited spots available each week.

What Your Puppy May Work On:

Every puppy is different, so each Puppy Preschool session is tailored to the group and individual needs of the puppies attending. Depending on the day, your puppy may work on:

  • Positive socialization with people, surfaces, sounds, and new experiences

  • Puppy manners and foundation skills

  • Confidence building and resilience

  • Calm behavior around other puppies

  • Enrichment and problem-solving activities

  • Age-appropriate play with thoughtful supervision

  • Body awareness and movement-based confidence work

  • Handling and grooming prep

The goal is to help your puppy build important life skills while creating positive experiences during a critical learning stage.

Why Puppy Preschool Instead of Traditional Daycare?

Young puppies are constantly learning from every experience they have, which is why the environment matters.

Traditional daycare settings can often be too much, too soon. Large groups, overstimulation, and unstructured play are not always the best fit for puppies who are still building confidence and learning how to move through the world.

Puppy Preschool offers a more thoughtful alternative.

At Spotted Snout, your puppy receives:

  • Small-group socialization

  • Trainer-led guidance

  • Age-appropriate enrichment

  • Intentional exposure to new experiences

  • Rest and structure built into the morning

  • A better foundation than all-day overstimulation

This is a great fit for owners who want their puppy’s early experiences to be positive, safe, and productive.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Every Puppy Preschool morning is designed around the puppies attending that day. Puppies may work on socialization, age-appropriate training, confidence building, enrichment, calm behavior around other puppies, and supervised play when appropriate. The goal is to create positive learning experiences, not just keep puppies busy.

  • No. Puppy Preschool is a trainer-led puppy development program, not traditional daycare. While puppies may have opportunities for supervised play and socialization, the focus is on healthy development, confidence, training, and age-appropriate enrichment in a small-group setting.

  • Puppies should be up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age and have veterinary approval to participate in a group setting. If you are unsure whether your puppy is ready, feel free to reach out before booking.

  • Not always. Because this is a structured small-group program, puppies should be able to participate safely and comfortably. If you are unsure whether Puppy Preschool is the right fit, reach out before booking and I’d be happy to help.

  • No. While appropriate play may be part of the experience, Puppy Preschool is intentionally structured to include socialization, enrichment, exposure, confidence building, and foundational training. It is designed to be much more purposeful than a standard puppy playgroup or daycare.
